Writing Level 3

- Students who score 70 or higher on the Compass Writing Test are placed in Writing Level 3
- To take a course that requires Writing Level 3 you must have a Compass Writing Score of 70 or higher; an ACT English Score of 18 or higher; have earned a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 or higher; or have successfully completed (C or better) one of the following courses: ENGL 071 , ENGL 100 , ENGL 101
