CSTC 172 - Computer Maintenance II3 credit (2 lecture, 2 lab) 4 contact hours [CSTC 171 ]*
This is the second course that prepares students in computer repair skills. Topics include installation and configuration of disk drives, system memory, video cards, sound cards and operating systems. Resolving hardware and software conflict, and an introduction to networking are also covered. Lab time emphasizes a “hands-on” use of computers and problem-solving.
