This continuation of GERM 101 is designed to give students a more thorough understanding of the German language and its cultural context. The course enables students to not only read and write German but also to actively listen to, understand and speak the language. Focus of the class continues on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and expression. It is a blend of theory and practice. Teaching strategies used are lecture with discussion, small group interaction, audio recognition and small video episodes.
