SUSN 108 - Use of Solar Photovoltaics2 credit (2 lecture, 0 lab) 2 contact hours [Pre- or co-requisite: ENVR 105 ]* This class explores the use of solar panels as an alternative source of energy for domestic use. Co-generation or storage of the electrical energy produced by solar panels is demonstrated. Activities include assembling cells into solar panels and using the generated electricity as a source of alternative energy on a small scale. OFFERED: spring semesters
