BIOL 100 - Biological Science4 Credit (3 lecture, 2 lab) 5 Contact Hours [Reading Level 3 and Writing Level 3 and Math Level 3 ]
This course provides a general education of the biological sciences (chemistry of life, cell biology, genetics, evolution and natural selection, organismal biology, anatomy and physiology, ecology) and a basis for individuals to relate to the world around them. Scientific methodology will be introduced. During the lab portion of the class, students will investigate and apply biological concepts and the scientific method. This course will prepare students for future biology classes.
