DART 110 - Photographic Foundations I3 Credit (1 lecture, 2 lab) 3 Contact Hours [Pre- or co-requisite: DART 101 ] Through a combination of lectures, photographic assignments and critiques; students will learn to see photographically through an exploration of the basic tools and techniques of digital photography. Through manual controls and RAW capture, students will learn the craft of making photographs while being introduced to photo editing software. Emphasis will be placed on critical issues that pertain to contemporary commercial photography. OFFERED: fall and spring semesters
