INDS 101 - Introduction to Manufacturing3 Credit (1 lecture, 2 lab) 3 Contact Hours [Math Level 4 ] This course introduces students to the basic concepts and skills needed for a basic job in manufacturing, and prepares them for training in advanced manufacturing concepts. Safety is critical in manufacturing, so it will be stressed throughout the course. Student will also review basic shop math, learn basic blueprint reading, learn about basic tools, and use those tools to verify measurements. OFFERED: fall and spring semesters
