Math Level 5

Math Level 1, 2, and 3 are no longer in use. All students place in Level 4 or higher depending on the assessment. For questions related to the levels, see a counselor or advisor.
Math level 5 places students into college level algebra and trigonometry. Students are placed into this level if they meet one of the following criteria:

ACCUPLACER NextGen Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra & Statistics (QAS) 273-300
-
ACCUPLACER NextGen Advanced Algebra & Functions (AAF) 243-259

ACCUPLACER Classic Elementary Algebra 90 or higher
Students can take classes at this level if they meet one of the following criteria:

ACCUPLACER Classic Elementary Algebra 90 or higher
-
ACCUPLACER Classic College Level Algebra 42 or higher
-
SAT Math 29 or higher
-
Successful completion (C or higher) of MATH 104 or MATH 105
-
Successful completion (C or higher) of any math class that is considered a higher-level (MATH 250 or MATH 251 )
