Writing Level 2

Writing level 2 places students into intermediate writing. Students are placed into this level if they meet one of the following criteria:

• ACCUPLACER Sentence Skills 61-80
• COMPASS Writing 38-69

S​tudents can take classes at this level if they meet one of the following criteria:

• ACCUPLACER Sentence Skills 61 or higher
• COMPASS Writing 38 or higher
• SAT Writing and Language 25 or higher
• ACT English 18 or higher
• Successful completion (C or higher) of any higher-level English (class with ENGL prefix)
• Associate Degree or higher
