Computer Networks & Systems

This program provides ‘hands on’ and theoretical knowledge of networking, digital communications, microprocessor systems, real-time software for control applications, and electronics. Students will gain experience in Cisco Networking, and are required to complete the CCNA exam to graduate. Course work includes lecture, laboratory exercises, and class projects to help prepare students for the workforce.  

Upon completion of this program [CIP: 11.0103], graduates should be able to:

  • use Microsoft Office.
  • perform basic computer networking.
  • design basic electronic circuits.
  • apply digital logic.
  • obtain CCNA certification.
