Montcalm Community College (MCC) offers this degree program in cooperation with the Institute of Agricultural Technology at Michigan State University. The Agricultural Operations Program is for students who are interested in gaining in-depth agricultural industry and business knowledge to apply to their own operations or to launch careers in the industry. This program integrates a wide range of disciplines including business, leadership, technology and compliance through hands-on laboratory learning and classroom formats. Of the credits required for certification, some are delivered by MCC and the majority are delivered by MSU. It is possible for a student to complete this program and transfer to a four-year agricultural degree program at MSU. All MSU courses will be offered on MCC’s campus or online.

Prerequisite courses may apply to this program. A minimum of 60 unduplicated credits (100 level or higher) are required for all associate degree programs.
