Information Processing Assistant Certificate

This program provides a background in office administration and computer productivity tools for initial employment in the information processing field.

Students interested in receiving an associate degree should see a counselor.

Upon completion of this program [CIP: 52.0401], students should be able to:

  • apply basic accounting skills in preparing general ledgers, financial statements, basic payroll calculations, and cash management.
  • use various input software and tools to create, edit, and format documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • employ appropriate office technology to effectively complete office-related tasks.
  • demonstrate professionalism.
