This program trains students in basic industrial maintenance. Coursework focuses on electronics, PLCs, and machine operation.
Upon completion of this program [CIP: 47.0303], students should be able to:
- demonstrate electrical and electronic concepts.
- demonstrate use of hydraulics or pneumatics.
- design plc ladder logic.
- demonstrate use of industrial machines.

Prerequisite courses may apply to this program. A minimum of 30 unduplicated credits (100 level or higher) are required for all certificate programs.
Program Requirements
GNST 100 offers skills needed to succeed in work-life. It is a required course and must be taken during the first semester at MCC.
