CNET 152 - CCNA2 Cisco Routing & Switching3 Credit (2 lecture, 2 lab) 4 Contact Hours [CNET 151 ] This course describes the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small network. Students learn how to configure a router and a switch for basic functionality. Students will learn to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with RIPv1, RIPv2, single area and multi-area OSPF, virtual LANs, and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. Lab work is designed to simulate real-world networking. This course is the second of four networking courses to prepare students for the CCNA certification exam.
