The Digital Arts Associate of Applied Science degree prepares students to work as commercial artists, or start their own businesses as freelance commercial artists. Students will gain real-world experiences creating scenes, photographing products & architecture, manipulating images in design software, and branding. Upon successful completion of this program, each student will have created a professional portfolio and a business plan.
Upon completion of this program [CIP: 50.0605], graduates should be able to:
- demonstrate commercial photography.
- demonstrate studio photography.
- demonstrate architectural photography.
- demonstrate manipulation of digital images.
- create a photography business.
