ARTS 265 - Introduction to Film4 Credit (4 lecture, 0 lab) 4 Contact Hours [Reading Level 3 and Writing Level 3 ] The course is an introduction to the language, structure, history and narrative technique of film as a distinctive art form. Coursework includes the reading of film theory and criticism, as well as viewing, discussing and critically writing about short and feature-length films by major international directors.
