Associate of Science and Arts/MiTransfer Exercise Science Concentration

(Code 1150)

The Associate of Science and Arts is designed for students planning to earn an associate degree at MCC and then transfer to a four-year college or university. The MiTransfer Exercise Science Concentration is intended to set students up to transfer for a bachelor’s degree to a participating college or university through the MiTransfer Pathways Project agreement. Students interested in pursuing this program and concentration are strongly encouraged to meet with an MCC counselor in addition to a counselor from the college or university they intend to transfer to determine their plan.

Upon completion of this program [CIP: 31.0501], graduates should:

  • be able to transfer to a four-year institution.

Special Considerations:

  • Students must earn a grade of C or better in each course to earn the MiTransfer Pathway in Exercice Science concentration and have this reflected on their transcripts. Students who do not meet this criterion may still be eligible to earn the Associate of Science and Arts without the concentration.
  • Students must apply and be admitted to the intended transfer college or university. Also subject to secondary admits.
  • Receiving institutions agree to accept the Remaining Degree Requirements as outlined in the receiving institutions’ agreements.
  • Not all institutions are participating with this agreement. To determine participating institutions, click here.
  • The agreement and list of participating institutions is subject to change.

Please Note:

Prerequisite courses may apply to this program. A minimum of 60 unduplicated credits (100 level or higher) are required for all associate degree programs.
