Technical Drafting & Design, A.A.S.

Learn the skills to enter the workplace as a versatile draftsperson capable of making basic design decisions and addressing future technological advances in the drafting and design profession. A counselor should be consulted if the student plans to transfer to a four-year institution.

Upon completion of this program [CIP: 15.1301], graduates should be able to:

  • demonstrate use of computer systems used in industry.
  • demonstrate use of industrial machines (lathes, mills, CNC).
  • demonstrate communication and relationships.
  • create a tool and die.
  • create hand drawings.
  • create drawings using CAD software.
  • create a fluid power system.

Prerequisite courses may apply to this program.
