DART 220 - Commercial Design II 3 Credit: (1 lecture, 2 lab, 0 clinical) 3 Contact Hours: [DART 120 ] Students will more fully explore the two-dimensional and digital aspects of the elements and principles for graphic design. Through a problem-solving approach, formal and conceptual experimentation, students will mesh their own aesthetic with a self-sufficient understanding of the components of graphic and visual communication. Students will manipulate elements for black and white as well as color media. Emphasis will be given to the importance of presentation and craftsmanship as it pertains to practical application.
