(Code 1660)
This program is designed for students who desire to work in the landscape management industry, either owning their own companies, managing companies for others, or for companies in supporting industries. Each student will complete an industry-related internship as part of the associate degree program. Students learn horticulture, landscape design, irrigation, and mitigating disease. Of the credits required for certification, the majority are delivered by MCC and the remainder are delivered by MSU. It is possible for a student to complete this program and transfer to a four-year agricultural degree program at MSU. All MSU courses will be offered on MCC’s campus or online.
Students must apply to both MSU and MCC. For more information on enrolling at MSU, students should see a counselor/advisor and go to the following website: http://www.canr.msu.edu/institute_of_ag_tech
