CRIM 250 - Client Relations in Corrections 3 Credit: (3 lecture, 0 lab, 0 clinical) 3 Contact Hours: This course examines the dynamics of human interaction within correctional facilities. Human relations in general are presented to establish a basis for more specific examination of the unique and complex situation found in corrections. The meaning and impact of culture and the causes and influence of prejudice on clients and corrections staff is explored. Discussions focus on values, ethics and professional responsiveness.
