The MiTransfer Pathway Biology Associate of Science program is intended to set students up to transfer for a bachelor’s degree to a participating college or university through the MiTransfer Pathways Project agreement. Students interested in pursuing this program are strongly encouraged to meet with an MCC counselor in addition to a counselor from the college or university they intend to transfer to determine their plan. The program will most likely be deactivated at the end of the 2024-2025 catalog cycle.
Upon completion of this program [CIP: 26.0101], graduates should be able to:
- demonstrate competence in college biology.
- demonstrate competence in college chemistry.
- demonstrate competence in organic chemistry.
- transfer to a four-year institution.
Special Considerations:
- Students must earn a grade of C or better in each course.
- Students must apply and be admitted to the intended transfer college or university. Also subject to secondary admits.
- Receiving institutions agree to accept the Remaining Degree Requirements as outlined in the receiving institutions’ agreements.
- Not all institutions are participating with this agreement. To determine participating institutions, click here.
